  1. Coming soon to a theatre of war near you. Check out abc.net.au/lateline for a recent interview with Martin Indyk, ex Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs, Ambassador to Israel etc. Basically between 2 years and 5 years and his view is that Israel will take out the nuclear facilities in Iran(and why them). Now, Iraq was different as they had only one facility, Iran has them spread everywhere so the only real option is to kill the technical staff by using ERWs (Enhanced Radiation Weapons...neutron warheads). half life of 3 days and there you go apart from the fact that 68 million people live in Iran. Whatever is done it will have to be done before Iran has 'the bomb' so practice your duck and cover technique Sandmonkey. BW48

  2. Uh... no.

Please note the text "Ground Zero Ocean". This is what a map of the region is expected to look like, after a medium-sized nuclear weapon detonates, right where that cute little island is.

(Hey Sandmonkey, why aren't any larger images available? The biggest one still isn't readable. Not that I was planning to put a poster on my wall or anything, but you know...)

    cheers,

  3. Cool. Israel, the only place I can even halfway stand in all of the ME and central Asia, becomes bi-coastal. Way cool!

  4. I'm still not sure. It may be Hanan Ashrawi's plan for the new Palestinian homeland or then again we could all be wrong and it's actually Club Wahabi, the new theme park for Islamofascists and fundamentalists. Cheap too. No rides, no music or TV just the shooting range and the bomb making factory(next to the mosque, makes sure that you have steady hands). After the missile strike Mecca will be in any direction you look, gotta be easier. Hope Sammy Bin Liner reads your blog Sandmonkey, he might want to but some beach side property..strictly off the plan of course. BW48
