May the next year not suck

So Today is the last day of the year 2005, one of the new millenium's worst years so far. There was so much bloodshed, mayhem and death to last 5 years in this year, which is why I am glad it's over and why I am hoping that next year things get better. I am hoping, but not really expecting it, cause honestly, the Future holds more of a threat than a promise these days. Oh well.... Since none of us can do anything about it, I say we stop worrying about all that could possibly go wrong or will go wrong for just one night and one day. I say we celebrate today with one another, be merry and enjoy the one night in which everyone in the whole world gets down and boogeys. Whether it's a fifth of tequila or non-alcoholic champaigne you are toasting when that clock hits midnight, I say drink it, and wash away all the crap that this past year inflicted on all of us. This way, even if WWIII starts tommorow, we will at least face it with a clean slate and a cheery disposition, you know? Happy New Year people! :)

Happy New Years! I think this year was, if nothing else, exciting. Now, of course, I could use a little less exciting.

Then again, it would be great if freedom kept moving, even if it does feel a little traumatic and turns your hair prematurely gray.

Vox you forgot the head of Sharon, Natanyahu, I know it was an oversight honey but it is always good to remember that invaders, occupiers are as bad as dictators.

Since none of us can do anything about it,

If we each chip in a little, we can chip away some of the perilous times ahead.

But on a lighter note, Happy New Year, Sand Man. Thanks for the last year's worth of posts.
