The reason behind Bush's supreme court nominee

According to this really funny fake Karl Rove Leaked memo on the Huffington's Post, the reason why Bush nominated that guy for supreme court, it's , well, for you to go apeshit on his conservative voting record in order to keep the press off of Karl Rove's back for a while. Read the whole memo to find out what else "they" plan to spring on you. Ohh, and in case if you havn't read this, here is the truth behind the Valerie Plame story, in her own words. (Hattip KAT) Hehehe

You know what is really funny about that whole "he nominated a replacement to tak your mind off of Rove" meme? Just yesterday morning some Democrat was on TV saying that he was dragging the nomination out in order to take our minds off of Rove. Now which is it? Same guy went on to point ou that this was the longest time in history for a President to go without nominating a replacement (17 days). LOL

Anyway, not to start an argument on your blog since you put up the funny, I will explain in brief as I understand it.

Joe Wilson sent to Nigeria to evaluate if they had contacts with Saddam for yellow cake (uranium for processing).
Depending on which side of the political aisle you were on, his troop either proved or disproved such allegations.
His wife worked at the CIA.
She recommended that he would be a good person to send since he had contacts (there's a written memo to this effect though some will deny it, not the least was Joe Wilson himself).
He gave his report to the CIA.
Before the CIA or administration could make any statement to the effect of its validity and contrary to several statements he made in his CIA debriefing, Wilson wrote an op ed stating the administration was using false information and distorting his report (which he signed when it was written and he does not dispute that its the report that he gave)
Robert Novak, another reporter, quickly wrote a counter op ed and stated that Wilson was not a non-partisan, was purposefully distorting his own report and that the CIA, which had been such a failure on the 9/11 attacks and who were under attack for those failures by everyone and their brother and a group of people who by far objected to the invasion of Iraq and also gave very bad information about Iraq, this same body had sent a known partisan at the behest of his wife, an agent, who was also opposed to the war and that said commentary by Wilson should be suspect.

Everyone got their panties in a twist because Novak named Wilson's wife as a CIA agent. It was a "leak".

Novak claims he got his info from another source (as yet to be named). Two other journalists claim they got similar information about wilson's wife in the CIA from another journalist (Novak?), but one of the reporters refuses to give up the actual name of their source.

Eventually, cooper, one of the reporters, said that he got the info first from another person and then had it confirmed by a conversation with Rove who said something like, "yes, I heard this rumor too" He did not name her name though he did confirm it was Joe Wilson's wife which seemed pretty clear (you could google it).

Which comes to the point of "did rove out an undercover CIA agent".

This is in fact the only thing that can be considered a crime. To actively and with malice afore thought, out an undercover CIA agent.

The key word here is "undercover". By all info, she has not been "undercover" for something like 9 years and this cover was blown by the CIA itself by sending documents to the wrong place. She was ostensibly "outed" again when she took up an open desk at the CIA and began working there for the last 6 years at least. Further, she had her name and occupation, CIA added to the America's Who's Who under her husbands name long before this little incident came out.

So, in essence, there was not "outing" of a secret agent. However, these investigations go on which says to me that the question of "outing" Wilson's wife is not the question at all but who provided certain information on reports and secret investigation. (that's my theory) and I bet the person that gets named and fired will surprise the hell out of the left and they will claim its a cover up.

You thought the APU was bad! LOL

You wonder where these people come from. Were they oxygen deprived at some point in their lives? Did their mothers drink alcohol during pregnacy? Sheeh!
