The london attacks were not suicidebombings

I am not the only one who thinks so. Michael Leeden's new article follows my same train of thoughts. Maybe now less people will be inclined to trust terrorist masterminds that the bombs they are placing for them will blow up after they drop them off. Hell, maybe now less people will agree to partake in such an activity anyway. Come to think of it, this might actually happen, if the media starts reporting this theory more often, that such attacks aren't really carried out by willing participants, then maybe the terrorists will find less people willing to do their dirty work. Maybe then less people will be willing to partake or carry out such attacks, if they reallize that the people they are working with are planning to kill them. Maybe if they did that, if they exposed the terrorists leaders as the people vicious enough to betray and kill their own as we know them to be and showed the bombers for the foolish dupes they are, then maybe, just maybe we could prevent the next 7/7 or the next suicidebombing in Iraq. Just saying....

Sam...A lot of the so-called suicide bombers in Iraq are handcuffed to the steering wheel or their families are held hostage. How come the press doesn't report that?

I haven't heard anything in the mainstream press about these people NOT being suicide bombers. So I guess it must be true.......

Must be funny to witness for an Egyptian: Even Westerners sometimes trust our media as little as Middle Easterners do with their.

Love your blog by the way ;-)

More great PR... Good to see that destructive convictions and family values run deep...

I posted that very thing on a newsgroup shortly after the bombing. It just didn't make sense, especially when you look at their faces in the pictures. A witness of the bus bombing stated he saw the guy rummaging around in his bag a lot, then when he got off the bus he heard an inhuman scream right before the blast. I think the guy figured out too late that the bomb was about to go off.

The Saudi driver who escaped the truck bomb stated that he was just supposed to deliver the truck and leave it. Instead they blew it up just as he was about to park it. LOL, he said he felt "betrayed"!

Actually, several of these bombers have survived. They were either chained to the steering wheels or so seriously drugged up they didn't know what they were doing.

I really do wish that the mainstream American media would report this- or at least investigate- I think it would explain a hell of a lot. It totally makes sense- especially when friends and relatives of these guys are so adament afterwards that this was such a shock.

Thanks for the info- keep it up. Education is so powerful!
