Is Katrina the democrats 9/11?
The fact that Bush took responsbility will make any criticism from the democrats of the fedral government's response later on seem like playing politics, unless they plan to use it as a part of a bigger argument for next year's midterm elections. It could work, but i sincirely doubt they can pull it off!

It's amazing Bush took responsibility but blanco and nagin are still dodging the blame. They are more responsible for what happened to their state than Bush is.

The only elections this is goign to effect are Louisiana's and they have been ruled by demonrats since reconstruction.
