For the first week here - in Dallas - it was all fundraising and volunteering. Now it's rumors of rapes and robberies and rich white people talking perjoratively about "them," meaning black people.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. Allowing for how the media likes to highlight only the bad things. There are thousands of kids from MS and LA in new schools now that are not having this problem.
Besides, did the article mention that Houston is Texas own little NO?
NO...well they should have. Most Texans I know are downright ashamed of Houston.
