Send Cindy Sheehan to Egypt

Freedom for Egyptians has an awesome post on what would've happend to Cindy Sheehan had she been demonstrating in Egypt and not in the US. It almost makes you kinda wish there would be a way to ship her ass over here, you know? She also has a great piece on US-Egypt relations and how Egyptians really feel towards the US. Check it out as well!

Well even if you don't think she's so great or you hate her or you think she's an idiot, I think it's pretty awesome that none of that stuff did happen to her. Freedom of speech and protest and all that. The US government sucks in many ways, but there is some good stuff going on over here. At times. Well, maybe...

Do you think Egypt would accept Cindy and Brenda if we here in the USA get you,SM?

Awesome Post? Really?? Is this irony at play?

SM you've been here. You know first hand we are a free society and tolerant of dissent. So much so it can bring Presidents down. I fear those of your readers who haven't experienced our freedoms first hand might get the wrong idea.

America cannot function without clear loud vocal dissent among her citizenry. The world trembled after 9/11 when it looked at an angry, galvanized America and, frankly, it wasn't a pretty sight. Now personally, I don't agree with her but I do defend her right to protest as she see fit.

Besides, it keeps Shrub on his toes and off vacation. I'll NEVER forgive him what happened to NOLA. Sign me pissed.

Why Mike? He had nothing to do with it. There are federal laws that pervent him from taking control from the governor of the state so if you want someone to blame, it is Blanko who refused the federal government from taking control. Learn the laws of this land before making stupid statements, it makes you look bad.

Can we also trade Mike and another stupid liberal for one of your friends?

While Cindy might not like Egypt's reception, I don't think SM would do too well in China.

While the communist government encourages Internet use for education and business, it also blocks material it deems subversive or pornographic. Online dissidents who post items critical of the government, or those expressing opinions in chatrooms, are regularly arrested and charged under vaguely worded state security laws.

Besides, he wouldn't like the food and the fact that he could only have one baby.

Bush is not Poseidon, Neptune, or Aeolus. He did not cause the hurricane and the flood.

LA got millions of dollars in federal cash for civil engineering projects, including making the levees stronger. LA diverted the money to other projects or made it "disappear" in the traditional LA way.

It was Blanco's responsibility to call for federal troops. States rights and all that jazz that we fought a war over.
