The MB has a female candidate

The MB is fielding a female candidate- just one- for the Parliamentary elections. She will be running in Madinet Nasr, which is a Cairo neighbourhood. Her name is Dr. Makarem El Deiry, she is a mother of 6, and she pledges to fight for the rights of opressed women. Before you break out the non-alcoholic champaigne, I would like to bring to your attention what she sites or considers opression and discrimination: The woman believes there is descrimination in Egypt against veiled women. No, really. They are descriminated against in jobs as TV presenters and in the tourism industry. This is the discrimination and opression of women that she intends to fight. Nice, no?
