Should the US close down Guantanamo Bay?

At first it was just Democrats, but now it seems a republican southern Senator jumped on the Bandwagon, and it's surprisingly not John McCain.

What will we do with them, bring them into the US. Let them go to kill us. Send them back to the middle east to kill innocents, several who have been let go have done exactly this. I hate the fact they are being held but I do not see an answer being acceptable to close the prison, They would be worse off in American prisons with the good ole boys, The Koran says it is ok to lie to a non-muslim so their words mean nothing, I so believe they are eating, allowed to worship and what the hell did they ecpect, when they turned their inferior weapons on the best equiped Army in the world, all 600 plus are not worth the life of one innocent either here or in the middle east.

I don't think we should let the embarrassment some of these stories and scandals have caused us prevent us from warehousing these guys for the duration, as has always been done during wars.

We just need to do a better job with handling them. Some of the allegations of mistreatment seem like obvious bullshit, like waking them up in the middle of the night amounting to "torture" - but things like what happened at Abu Ghraib really make us look bad.

No! No because there is no
reason to. There is no story
here. This is just liberal
media hype. The prisoners eat
better than I do. Certainly
better than they would back
home.
