Bloody day in Baghdad

More then 170 dead, 570 injured. How anyone could support those bastards, is just beyond me!

The problems in Iraq seem intractable. It's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Zarqawi just took credit for this. He's linking it to payback for the offensive in Tal Afar. Which says to me (reading between the lines) that the Tal Afar operation has hurt his organization pretty bad. So, of course, instead of fighting the troops that are tring to kill him, he blows up innocent people in Baghdad. Because, you know, that's the kind of guy he is.

I feel so bad for the Iraqi people. Their innocent civilians are being killed in mass numbers like sardines. Here they are, fighting for their very survival against murderous thugs, and their neighbors, fellow Muslims, and critics lay the blame at Bush, the Coalition, and even the Jews. I hope the good and brave Iraqis can brave through this storm of violence, and I also hope the different factions in Iraq can put aside their political, religious, and cultural differences and just come together to deal with this Zarqawi/AlQaeda problem.

I think this wave of terribly
bloody attacks are proof that the
terrorists are in a very bad
state of affairs. It reminds me
of the determined waves of Japanese
Kamakaze attackers that continued
despite the fact that knew their
country was defeated. The terrorist's only hope now is to
start a civil war. They realize
that in the next few months Syria
will be attacked...their support
will be cut off...and they will be
squeezed out of existence.

It would be nice if just Syria was the only one supporting the frantic mass murders in Irag (and all over the world).

But that is far from the actual situation.

Lets see..

Just the main supporters
Egypt
Saudi Arabia
Jordan
Iran (big supporter)
The PA
Other ME countries
Even some African countries

Then of course all your
other terrorist groups
Which are too many to list.

Of course they get money from more countries than that. They get money from North and South America, Old [e]urope, Asia and I would bet Canada, China and other places you wouldn't guess.

The Swiss banks have so far not been too cooperative in helping trace and freeze terrorist monies. Other banks drag their feet when ever possible. They like having those millions to play with.

Until we can strangle the terrorists by cutting off their money and by stopping the mullas and clerics from destroying young minds with hatred and promises of a lifetime supply of virgins,we can't win against the people that want to drag the world back into the dark ages.

The Islamic world mostly Muslims is going to have to rise up and fight the extreamists with the rest of us. Otherwise they may (will) suffer by association.
