I am a capitalist! I think if you work for it it should be yours and yours alone. If I had my way, welfare would only be for those who have lost their jobs and limited to a time limit. I think the only thing socialism in this country has taught people to do is to line up and wait for a check. I wish we only gave food, shelter, and clothing with little choice in the matter and no money, I think making it "not your choice" but just the basics would make welfare a much less of an attractive way of life. Would also take away the democrats abilty to keep everyone on the plantation as a voter base!
