Me and Alaa agree on something
This analysis is quite crappy and discounts way too many people.

Then, my friend, tell us what your analysis of Egyptian society is. Didn't you write once that you know 4 or 5 folks that share your opinions? (Or maybe I confuse something and BP wrote that).
On that statistical basis, given that you are in those well-educated, English-speaking, illuminated strata of society, this girl's analysis is probably right.
But is it realistic to discount everyone who's not a foreign educated intelectual?
I'll be waiting for the high quality, in depth, sandmonkey analysis. I've been wondering about the relative strength of ideologies, as well as apathy, in egypt (or any arab country) for some time.
Realistically though, I'll settle for a superficial educated guesstimate. Please take the time to do a superficial guesstimate.
