Introspection
I am taking a 2 day break and will be back on Sunday. I have a shitty choice to make, and it is a decision that will most likely shape the rest of my Life, so it is something that i need to contemplate heavily, and without interruptions or distractions. So i am leaving to Sinai for 2 days. I am going to soak in the sun, enjoy the sea and think things through, because i just can't reach a soloution here and this has been on my mind for months now. Maybe if I still can't figure it out, I will tell you guys all about it, and maybe you can help me out! ehh.. Anyway, see ya on Sunday! Until then...

My say.. don't leave Egypt.
Take a deep breath--follow what your heart, guts your maybe mind tells you heart your ...and go for it--knowing that all decisions can be reversed...all except death...do not stress over it...but as Nike says --Just Do It--I love this motto...see you on Sunday
Don't get the sex-change.
Take it easy! Don't let this decision of yours weigh on you TOO much!
And I second jeff's "don't get a sex change" motion.
Sex change? hope not.
I'm sure that he's not leaving Egypt, he siad that to me. So no spreading rumers Mo.
Mesteka
Shaken ... not stirred?
The ancient Goths, when a big decision faced the tribe, used to have a council where beer (an Egyptian invention, BTW) was served in liberal quantities as a stimulus to the imagination. No idea was off the table, no matter how far-fetched; and as the evening wore on, they might become very extravagent. The next evening, only water would be served. All the previous night's proposals would be reviewed under conditions of strict sobriety and seriousness, and a decision would be made and put into action.
I highly recommend this procedure. Gather a handful of trusted friends, get your brain cells well-lubricated, and thrash the issue out. Resolve not to decide until you are all once again in your right minds.
I say go for it Hosni could use some
REAL competition.
As Egyptians have, on average, 1.6-inch penises (*smirk*), the decision about a sex change makes little difference.
And the winner is.............???
No! Don't become a Jihadist!
My almost father-in-law, a wise man, once told me, "Don't worry! any decision you make will be the wrong one."
I thought he meant decision making was pointless, and so wasn't that a little extreme?
No. What he meant that any major life decision will have both good and sorrow come out of it. There is no perfection in this world.
Line up the good and bad for each of the choices, and pick the option that appeals the most. Then forward! No second guessing, no catterwaling. Just forward.
Hope this helps and wishing you the best of luck.
PS.
Boxers or briefs?

Well Anonymous, your almost father-in-law must have been a wise man. I think I can use that tidbit of wisdom again and again. Bears repeating more than once, anyway, just like you did. ;)
He got some woman pregnant, right?
