All hail President for Life Putin

Ensuring the utter and complete death of the russian democratic experience, Putin has the Kremlin working on amending the constitution, so he can run for a third consecutive term. This is not in any way good news, nor are his nostalgic tendencies for the days of the USSR. Is it just me, or does it seem like there is a prequisite of being a huge douchebag for someone to be a leader today?

It is surprising that Dubya isn't organising himself a third term too.
