CAIR urges denying Israel US money to pay for the withdrawel

Ok, I am confused again. CAIR (The Council on American Islamic Relations) has been lobbying for years for the US to intervene with Israel and get them to withdraw from the occupied territories, and now that the US pressured Israel to do it, and the israelis are out, they are urging the US not to give Israel money to pay for the withdrawel? Shouldn't they be pro anything that would encourage the Israelis to leave the occupied territory? Wouldn't that be in the palestinains best interest for them to make such withdrawels as smooth as possible, so that Israel would be more encouraged to actually do them in the future? Wouldn't that be the smart position to take? Or am i totally missing something? Hmm.........

CAIR seems to take both sides of every position. I guess they think they are being balanced that way, but it's really confusing.

CAIR is most interested in propagating their version of "truth" - getting it accepted without scrutiny, that is. If a lie gets publicity often enough, people will start believing in in whole or in part, even if none of it is true.

This is the dynamic of the entire propaganda campaign against Israel. Consider Sandmonkey: "Wouldn't that be in the palestinains best interest for them to make such withdrawels as smooth as possible, so that Israel would be more encouraged to actually do them in the future?" The very statement implicitly incorporates the unquestioned and unexamined assumption that the Israelis are not entitled to territory of some sort.

What CAIR is really interested in is getting it's own paws on the $$$:

"Such funds could be better used to improve conditions for ordinary Palestinians whose lives have been devastated by decades of brutal occupation."

CAIR needs to be put in the same category as other hate groups like the kkk and louie farrakan's nation of islam. I don't believe any of our tax dollars need to be used to further fund the hamas/hezbolala cowards or buy expensive real estate in paris for the leadership of the palestinians to live in while they live in shit. I’m still waiting to hear what happened to the millions already spent to supposedly help them. What did that sawed off terrorist with the ugly mug do with all that cash he sacrificed his people for? Besides, now what? Does anyone honestly believe that the Israelis will give up anymore land to the terrorists? Miscalculation big time if they do. Sharon has a plan and it ain’t making Israel smaller.
