Hitchens vs. Galloway's "Grapple in the Apple" internet stream
For all of you who wanted to check out the Hitchens vs. Galloway debate, I got the internet stream right here. (USE direct link 3 and move forward from there because that's the start of the debate, link 1 and 2 are just the pre-show) Now excuse me, I have to listen to it!

I've already been lectured for saying it, but, as I listened to Galloway, his rhetorical style reminded me of a certain Nuremberg rally. Need I say who that is?
I really had the image of him flipping his hair and banging his fist into his hand as he spoke.
Galloway whipped out the Johns Hopkins and Lancet reports to prove there were 100k dead in Iraq at the hands of the US and tried to stuff debate on the subject by saying that these were well respected institutes that should be above reproach. Of course, he did not mention either of these institutes "qualification" of these numbers nor their withdrawal as an "accurate number".
Sometimes you just want to reach through the TV and swat someone....What a POS!
He visits and praises Saddam or the Syrian leader in one breath and has the audacity to condemn America for supporting dictators in the next.
If folks like Galloway represent the "peace" movement, it's no surprise how uninfluential they are because all their ideas are so scatter-brained.
I listened & thought Hitchens a*s raped Galloway over & over again. To come & talk about feeling so bad about Cindy Sheehan's son being killed in Iraq, after being fresh from going to Syria & praising the "150 operations a day" that were no doubt the caused of his death is absolutely disgusting.
Also disgusting was Galloway trying to equate the military operations going on near some of the Syrian border villages against armed 'insurgents' who are shooting back w/ the victims of yesterdays MASS MURDER of day labourers in Baghdad. What a disgusting pig.
The bit about Galloway having the same oratory style as certain Nazi dictators was noticed by me as well. I was kind of shocked when I noticed it to be honest. Didn't the Nazis have 'legitimate greivances' w/ the Treaty of Versaille & all that, and here's some freak making excuses for every depraved murderer he can meet? F him.
George Galloway = more likely to convince me that the Iraq war was a good idea than anyone on the right.
