The Scandal
The Official results are in: Out of 31 million registerd voters, 7 million voted, which means voter turn-out was 22.5% of registerd voters and 10% of the Egyptian population. Out of those 7 million, 6 million voted for Mubarak, giving him an 88% victory. 88%. Yeah, that's more legitimate then those 99% votes! WTF is wrong with these people? How stupid are they? I..I just can't..forget it! I need a drink!

It's a shame..
I'm appalled.
I was happy with the "exaggerated" 78%...
Now I'm really angry at the 88%.. They get the "dead people votes" maybe or excluded the invalid ones, or most proably added the "invalid votes" to Mubarak.

Isn't it obvious?
Before this election, why would anyone vote? It's a dictatorship.
Then...after the date for registering to vote...had passed, the government says "Guess what? You can vote for someone besides Mubarak!"
So if you weren't planning to go to the polls already to pretend to vote already, it is too late to vote for real. Most Egyptians saw the charade was silly and they chose to show their contempt for it by staying home. That means that 75% of the Egyptian public sat it out, right? If only 50% of the eligible Egyptian votes would vote (if it made a difference) then Mubarak has no support.
Vote in a good parliament and then, in 6 years, vote in a REAL leader of the people.
