The Iraqi resistance wants to negotiate with the government

File this under "Possible good news": Gateway Pundit is reporting that the resistance groups have contacted the Talbani government and want to join the political process. This is good news because if the negotiations are a success, Al Zarqawi and Al Qaida will find themselves alone and will be crushed in no time. I think the Iraqi resistance groups are wising up that there is a differnce in objective between themselves and Al Zarqawi's group and it may be best for them not to be viewed as one and the same. I think that even the Sunnis in Iraq are getting sick of the mayhem and want the attacks to end, so this could be the start of having a unified and peaceful democratic Iraq. I can hope, right?

The Iraq case is different from the French case. In Iraq, we have a representative, democratically elected government authorizing the USA to maintain troops in order to protect the country from the terrorists. When the Iraqi army will be fully trained and ready (soon) the American will retreat, if the Iraqi people wishes so.

The Iraqi people thanks the Americans for their daily sacrifice.

Let me remind you that the exact same case was in Egypt with the British sir, specially the gov. that authorised the british to stay, and still dare you say to any Egyptian that there sacrifices against the british were Terrorism :)), Governments elected under forign military occupation are likely to remain discredited by large sectors of the population man. and pardon me also, the British were much better politicians by these old days standards than Americans are by todays standards, yet the Egyptian resistance never stopped and would have continued for as many years more as the british folks wanted to stay in Egypt.

Heh, Mohamed, you just can't wait for the bloodbath in Egypt to start, can you?

I bet you wonder why the whole world has supported brutal dictatorships in the ME for the last 50 years too, don't you? Look in the mirror. The problem is you.

"Let me remind you that the exact same case was in Egypt"

Except that the Egyptian government was not elected through free and fair election.

Sorry to note that but in Egypt during the 1930's and the 1940's we have elections that are not much different from the one in Iraq now..this is a truth. and one of the faliures of the notorious Revolution is that we never had an elections after that....

people something like 48% of Egyptians are still illitrate, shamfull, but ture!, so mind me, the doses of libral ideas are completely out of touch with reality, thats my whole point. take it easy or else people freakout like they did now! Enjoy!

#take it easy or else people freakout like they did now! Enjoy!

That sounds pretty threatening to me, Mohamed.

I think Scorekeeper is right. You are waiting for the bloodbath to start.

#Excuse me stefania names may matter for those who showup on TV, For me if an
#American troop touches egyptian soil, guess what?

We had 16,000 troops in Egypt in October. Most of them were Marines, a lot of them recently in Iraq. Where were you?

#yeah you guessed it right, i'll carry a gun and shoot the hell out of them,
#along with many others, and you call me names, and try to kill me but there
#will be a 100 more of me! resistance is a real meme no kidding!

That's not actually what the "resistance" does, Mohamed. The "resistance" blows up mothers with their children, assassinates teachers in their classrooms, takes innocent people hostage and murders them, etc. Is that what you are threatening, for Egypt?

I wish I could believe you would take up a rifle and fight a soldier face to face. I don't, though. I don't believe you have more courage than the "resistance" in iraq right now. I believe you have less. You obviously hate the US and you claim you are willing to die fighting the US. Why aren't you in Iraq, doing just that?

You make too many threats. You sound more like a bully than a hero.

Guys, feel free to ignore Mohamed. He is just causing hype and leaving stupid comments so that people could go and visit his blog. He is not here to rationally discuss anything nor does he have the ability to back up his statements and arguments. Just ignore him completely and save yourself the headache.
