It's ok to buy Danish Insulin
That's what the Mufti said in el Beit Baytak last night. He said that because we need it, the necessity of our need makes it ok for us to use it, even though if we didn't need it, we defintely shouldn't use it. That was his Fatwa on the thing. That he would rather people not use it or we didn;t need it, but since it's about survival and living, it's ok! This is the same guy who said we shouldn't celebrate valentine's day or at least not call it eid el hob, because there are only 2 eid's. Anything else is Haram. Shoot me now!

If the Danes were bastards they might consider refusing to sell the insulin to countries who are/were boycotting them. Maybe they might burn a few flags and teach people a lesson for disrespecting their right to free speech:)

I guess speaking with two tounges is really just business as usual? Either "God" requires faithful Muslim not to deal with infidels over these cartoons or he doesn't? He is trying to give the people the right religious edict but it has nothing to do with what Mohamed lived like, cos he lived in a different time in different circumstances, religious people know that but they never reveal it, they enjoy controlling people.
First, there are plenty of interpretations & many muslims wouldnt disagree, as the numerous books the tradition is full of would reveal.

there are no contradictions between the meccan & madinite period, you simply dont understand the quran, like many muslims dont, you seem to be taking it as a book filled with rules that have to be implemented & complied with without thinking. these contradictions would be in a book written by someone who didnt put things in perspective for ideological reasons or scientific research mistakes.
I forgot to add that, was that tantway or who?? they give those edicts & they contradict eachother always, one says regarding an issue its fine, the other says it isnt, like anidiot who asked whether is religiously legitimate to do business with Israel, one sheikh told him its fine, another one then told him its forbidden( why??) then he went on to ask someone else, see how people are dumb? he asked someone in a non religious issue, he got an answer, why does he go ask someone else???? it must be that they are looking for an answer & seeking at any cost to prove its forbidden!!

Mortiferix, I don't think that people should start witholding western goods from the M.E. but there is no reason to tolerate bullshit. For example, a cleric and his buddies in Pakistan have put up a million dollar bounty for anyone who kills the people who drew the cartoons. That is not acceptable.

I don't think the Danes can stop selling insulin to anybody, cause it means less money for them, and as you know money and sex are the biggest religions in the west now.
