The calm voice of a Psycho

Rememebr the iranian idiot who ran over people in UNC because it was "the will of Allah"? Well, the police provided his 911 phone call, which you can hear here, and it's scary. It's not scary because it's menacing or threatening or anything like that. It's scary because he is calm. He is very very calm on his phone call with the police. He was patient, polite, unemotional, relaxed and exhibited a clairty of someone who knew exactly what he was doing, knew the consequences, and had no qualms in any way about doing it. It's as if he made the phone call because it's the thing to do after doing what he did; the logical next step. Listen to it and tell me I am imagining all of this. Those are the people who scare me: Not the hysterical violent types, but the calm methodical ones. The people who attempt to kill people with the same emotional effort it takes to swat a fly, and show the same level of concern for both. The hysterical violent types I understand, I can handle. This other type, for some reason, I can't!

As someone who has met all the groups you mention and the others as well (armed robbers, rapists, cop killers) I can tell you as someone who has no university qualifications but has been at the scene, this guy is totally and unconditionally fucking crazy. If this guy did it for Allah it was because the voices told him to. And yes, these ones are the scariest because they are next to you everyday but hopefully not when they tip over. BW48

What a friggin not ball. "Here I am, come and arrest me!" This dude has issues but also just wants attention. Send him to Gitmo, then deport his ass back to Iran.

The real threat is when psychopaths get themselves into positions of power as dictators or even elected leaders of some country. These are people for whom other human beings are just stage scenery, to be shifted around at will and destroyed when no longer useful. The big problem in politics is how to keep dangerous people out of politics.

At first I thought the 911 operator was a dim bulb but maybe he was just following his training to keep the guy on the phone?

Either way, that has to take the cake as the strangest phone call he has received. I'd love to hear what was running through his brain.

Yes and now he can go to prison for life where he can become a prison imam and convince other psycho mental midgets to kill for allah. Has Islam become a religion where only serial killers become imams? That's what it looks like from here. This whack job will kill many from prison. He doesn't care if he's in jail or not. He can do his job from anywhere.

Strange how polite he was - what with all the "Yes sirs" and "No sirs".

Hmmm, I wonder how long it takes to triangulate the position of a cell phone via GPS and how long it takes for the cavalry to get there? When they do it's more like,"put you hands on the f*****g car SIR!". I may be wrong but I thought that keeping them talking was on page 2 of the book

America has a government of the people, and if he wanted to lash out against it for doing harm to Muslims, I guess running random persons over in your SUV will do.

Like the men who committed 9/11 and this fellow, being educated isn't an antidote to radicalism. And radicalim can seem like madness to outsiders, but you can be merciless and murderous but still be very sane if it fits within your ideological/religious beliefs.
