There are many clever Afghans who speak English, are better-educated and are certainly more deserving of the opportunities going to Yale affords than this smooth-talking opportunist.. Until recently I worked in Afghanistan and one of my coworkers comes to mind who would do well at almost any university. I find it amazing that the ex-Talib spokesman is at Yale getting this amazing chance (sponsored by donations, no less) while Hamid (a translator for the US army, and later a program manager for a health NGO) couldn’t even get a visa to visit his family in Maryland.

Hi Cliche, good point there. SM must have some sort of warning system, perhaps a boss-radar, so he can make a very quick close-down.
When I think of the fact that the exact same green page is flashing on MY screen at work several times a day, I don’t know how SM can get away with that, because it must be flashing on HIS screen 99% of the day. But perhaps his secret is the same as mine: I know what my boss is doing on his PC. So I don’t have problems with my boss...
