Arla foods denies boycotting Israel
Even though Jylland posten is saying that the news that Arla foods is boycotting Israel per order of the rest of the ME isn't new. They say that Arla has been boycotting Israel for years, Arla foods claims that this is not true and no such boycott is in place. Ok, buy Lurpak, but not Puk cheese. Let's teach them a lesson.

Their export/year at the moment is worth 200 million kr (1 USD ~ 6 kr).
They had to sign an agreement stating that none of the Arla-products delivered to Saudiarabia, Iran etc. is produced using Israeli labour or subcontractors.
It seems to a standardt-practise in many arab-countryes. The danish government is now talking about making such agrements illegal.

just to laborate
it like "grumpy Dane" says
but i just wanted to add that they do buisness with Israel, just not buisness going to Arab countries
funny you mention it "blogspat"
because Arla has been boycottet by the danish people because of an domestic episode of unfair competion with a smaller company, they got a fine in court in this particular case, but was cleared in other ways, because it was one episode an not standard practise of ARLA, to do unfair comp.
That boycott ended immedially when they were boycottet by the ME
