Sam, I'll have a couple for you, too. Take in a ball game and then wait for tomorrow.

Well, soon enough, you'll be back. We'll do the drink thing.

We had our big neighborhood party last night. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, potato salad, the ever presnet cake topped with strawberries and blueberries formed into the shape of a flag.

Tonight is fireworks. I usually don't go to the shows because if you get up on the roof, you can see all the displays in town right from my house.

Have a bunch of friends coming over at dusk. I hope my roof is strong enough to hold them all :o)

The 4th is the only time I appreciate the fear of the Iraqis. My neighborhood is filled with smoke and noise from fireworks. Downtown Bagdad on a bad night. Without anyone dying Although I feel like killing them after a few hours. My big brave Great Dane cowers next to me and is really distrubed by it all. Gotta love the 4th

Hey...had a great 4th of July. Barbequed, drank (a little; jello shots which somebody had killed with te kill ya) and then went to the big fire works at the little town by the river that does a big carnival. It was great.
